His father, Sudhir Kumar, is a retired physics professor, while his elder sister, Dr. Nimisha Priya, is a doctor at Bhagalpur Medical College. His brother-in-law, Dr. Prince Chandrashekhar, serves as a medical officer in Saharsa, and his maternal uncle, Dr. Rajiv Ranjan, works at Sadar Hospital in Ranchi. Going by the News18 Hindi report, Manav Priyadarshi started his NEET preparation in 11th grade. To stay focused, he avoided social media for two years, even uninstalling Instagram. He is not active on any platform, as he believes social media can be distracting. A passionate sports enthusiast, he enjoys playing football and cricket, which he uses as a way to refresh his mind during his study breaks.
