Dehradun: When Dr. Himanshu Aeran, with deep emotion, said, “My heart is overwhelmed by the honor you have bestowed upon me… Jai Hind, Jai Subharti!”—the entire auditorium was filled with sentiments. As he moves on to assume his new role as Full-Time Member Assessment & Rating at the National Dental Commission, the Ras Bihari Bose Subharti University family accorded him a grand, dignified, and deeply emotional farewell.
The event was organized in a beautifully arranged setting, witnessing the presence of faculty members, staff, and students from all departments in large numbers. As Dr. Aeran stepped onto the stage, he was welcomed with floral garlands—a vivid symbol of affection, respect, and heartfelt admiration.
In his address, Dr. Himanshu Aeran described his 18-month tenure at the university as “an unforgettable journey imbued with patriotism and the spirit of nation-building.” He emphasized that the support and collaboration of colleagues from diverse academic disciplines made this relatively short tenure impactful and inspiring.
A highlight of the event was the address by Dr. Krishna Murti, Executive Officer of the university, who expressed in emotional words that Dr. Aeran was not just an administrator but a visionary guide, a source of inspiration, and a transformative leader for the institution.
He stated, “The commitment, transparency, and national interest with which Dr. Aeran has guided Subharti will remain a lasting source of inspiration for all of us. We pledge to follow his path and take Subharti to greater heights.”
He further added with conviction, “We will strive with full dedication to realize his dream of making Subharti the number one institution in the world.” His words infused the entire auditorium with renewed enthusiasm and determination.
Pro Vice-Chancellor Dr. Desh Deepak, in his address, remarked that Dr. Aeran provided the university with a new direction, renewed energy, and a clear national vision. He described his leadership as “a remarkable example of commitment, vision, and excellence,” and wished him great success in his future endeavors.
Registrar Khalid Hasan highlighted that Dr. Aeran’s tenure became synonymous with administrative transparency, discipline, and efficiency. Meanwhile, Dean Academics Manmohan Gupta credited his academic vision as the foundation of the university’s continuous progress.
