On the concluding day, Subharti University Vice-Chancellor Dr. Desh Deepak commended the organizers for the grand success of “Kala Varsha 2026”
The annual art exhibition “Kala Varsha 2026”, which brought a special opportunity for art lovers, concluded today. It was held at Chitra International Art Gallery, Ballupur, from 7th May to 11th May 2026. Today, students from various schools visited the exhibition and appreciated the works of Subharti University students displayed there. During this, Shri Shyam Narayan Dubey also gave a demonstration on graphic design. He carefully observed all the children’s work, discussed their paintings and installations with them, and explained how they can further work in the applied field in the future.
This fifth annual art exhibition, “Kala Varsha 2026”, served as a grand platform to showcase the creative talent of young and emerging artists. This magnificent event was organized by Dr. Mukti Bhatnagar, Subharti School of Fine Arts and Fashion Design, affiliated with Ras Bihari Bose Subharti University, Dehradun. The exhibition was dedicated to the late Sanghmata Dr. Mukti Bhatnagar.
The chief guest for today’s program was Shri Pranjal Katara, who was felicitated by Subharti University Vice-Chancellor Dr. Desh Deepak, Dean of the Department of Fine Arts Ms. Rita Tiwari, and Head of the Department Shri Santosh with a memento and ceremonial stole.
In his message, chief guest Shri Pranjal Katara said that “Kala Varsha 2026” is an excellent platform for the creative development of Subharti Fine Arts students. After viewing the exhibition, he said that this level of work in B.F.A. and M.F.A. classes is truly outstanding. Heartily encouraging the B.F.A. and M.F.A. students and the faculty members guiding them, he said, “Your creative contribution is inspiring. Continue such efforts so that the standards of art education can be raised even higher.”
Meanwhile, Subharti University Vice-Chancellor Dr. Desh Deepak, extending his heartfelt best wishes, described “Kala Varsha 2026” as a highly significant event for the promotion and dissemination of art. Giving an encouraging message to the B.F.A. and M.F.A. students and the faculty inspiring them, he said, “This exhibition is a living testimony to your artistic energy. Keep giving continuous momentum to such creative efforts so that the light of art spreads to society and becomes an inspiration for the new generation.”
At “Kala Varsha 2026”, visitors witnessed a unique glimpse of diverse colors, ideas, and expressions. Like previous years, this year too the exhibition saw the likely participation of a large number of art lovers, teachers, students, and renowned artists, making this event one of the city’s major cultural attractions.
