Dehradun. Bringing a special opportunity for art lovers, the 5th annual art exhibition “Kala Varsha 2026” will be held at Chitra International Art Gallery, Ballupur from 7th May to 11th May 2026. This exhibition will serve as a grand platform to showcase the creative talent of young and emerging artists.

This prestigious event is being organized by Dr. Mukti Bhatnagar, Subharti School of Fine Arts & Fashion Design, affiliated with Ras Bihari Bose Subharti University, Dehradun.
The exhibition is dedicated to Late Sanghamata Dr. Mukti Bhatnagar.

On this occasion, Dr. Atul Krishna, Trustee, Subharti Group, in his message said that “Kala Varsha 2026” is an excellent platform for the creative development of students. The University’s Vice-Chancellor Dr. Desh Deepak also extended his heartfelt wishes, calling the event extremely important for the promotion and propagation of art.

Mrs. Avani Kamal, Assistant Director (Academic), described the event as a source of inspiration for students and conveyed her best wishes to all participants. Dean Dr. Rita Tewari and Exhibition Coordinator & HOD Mr. Santosh Kumar said that such events provide students with practical experience and enhance their creative potential. The exhibition will remain open for five days and will pave the way for future generations.

The exhibition will display paintings, sculptures, applied art, installation art, fashion design, and other contemporary artworks created by students of Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA), B.F.D., and Master of Fine Arts (MFA). The objective of the exhibition is not only to give students an opportunity to present their art but also to generate awareness and interest in art among the general public.

“Kala Varsha 2026” will offer visitors a unique glimpse of diverse colors, ideas, and expressions. Like previous years, a large number of art lovers, teachers, students, and renowned artists are expected to attend, making this event one of the city’s key cultural attractions.

The institution requests all art lovers, academicians, and citizens to visit the exhibition, encourage young artists, and become part of this creative journey of Indian art.
