Gujarat NEET UG 2026: Round 4 Stray-Vacancy Allotment, Reporting and Fee Deadlines

Posted on October 22, 2026October 22, 2026 By neet bulletin No Comments on Gujarat NEET UG 2026: Round 4 Stray-Vacancy Allotment, Reporting and Fee Deadlines

Round 4 stray-vacancy counselling is intended to fill MBBS and BDS seats that remain vacant after the earlier Gujarat NEET UG counselling rounds. It gives eligible candidates an opportunity to be considered for those remaining seats, subject to the vacancy position, merit, preferences and the rules announced for the 2026 process. A stray-vacancy round is not necessarily open to everyone who took part in an earlier round: candidates should check the official notice carefully for eligibility, participation restrictions, and any requirements concerning previous allotments or admissions.

The state process is conducted by the Admission Committee for Professional Undergraduate Medical Educational Courses (ACPUGMEC). Candidates should use the committee’s official admission portal, medadmgujarat.org, and rely on its published notices and candidate login rather than social media posts or unofficial result pages. The portal may provide the schedule, vacancy information, allotment-result link, instructions and reporting details. Check it regularly, particularly when deadlines are approaching.

To find the allotment result, open the UG medical admissions section of the official portal and look for the Round 4 stray-vacancy result or allotment link. Follow the notice’s directions to sign in. The required credentials may include the candidate’s user ID or application number and password, or other details specified by ACPUGMEC. Use the exact login method in the current instructions; do not share credentials, and contact the official help channel if access problems arise.

After logging in, review the result in full. Confirm the candidate’s status and carefully check the allotted course, college, category and any other details shown. Read the reporting instructions, including where and when to report, which documents to carry, and any applicable admission or fee requirements. Save or print the allotment letter and retain proof of completed steps. An allotment alone should not be treated as confirmation that admission is complete.

The 2026 official notices are the source of truth for the result date, eligibility, participation conditions, reporting schedule and fees. Dates and rules can change, so verify the latest committee announcement before acting; do not assume eligibility based solely on participation in an earlier round.

After a Round 4 stray-vacancy seat is allotted, candidates should first download the official allotment letter and read every instruction carefully. The letter and the latest notice from the Gujarat admission authority state the reporting dates, deadline, designated college or reporting venue, and any required procedure. Do not rely on earlier-round schedules or informal messages: reporting arrangements can differ, and the applicable instructions are those published for the current allotment.

Attend in person when required, or use another reporting method only if the official notice expressly permits it. At the college, complete the prescribed admission formalities and cooperate with document verification. Ask the institution whether any forms must be completed in advance, whether original documents will be retained temporarily, and how fees must be paid. Keep copies of submitted forms and receipts, and obtain an acknowledgement showing that reporting and any required payment have been recorded.

The document checklist may include the NEET UG scorecard and admit card, the allotment letter, proof of identity, and educational records such as Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets or certificates. Candidates may also need to provide category, caste, non-creamy layer, or domicile certificates where applicable, along with recent photographs and proof of fee payment. Requirements can vary according to the candidate’s status and the college’s instructions, so this list should not be treated as exhaustive.

Before travelling, check the current official checklist and confirm whether originals, photocopies, self-attested copies, or a particular number of sets are required. Organize documents in advance and carry the originals for verification, together with the requested copies. If a certificate is pending or a name or date differs across records, contact the admission authority or college promptly for guidance rather than assuming an explanation will be accepted.

Reporting within the stated window is essential. Missing the deadline, failing verification, or not completing a required payment may put the allotted seat at risk under the published rules. Keep a record of the applicable notice, communication with the college, and all acknowledgements, and follow any further instructions issued by the authority.

For Gujarat NEET UG 2026 Round 4 stray-vacancy admissions, candidates should not assume that MBBS and BDS fees are identical across colleges or seat categories. The payable amount may depend on the course, institution, seat type and applicable fee rules. Figures published for earlier admission years, previous rounds or other colleges may not reflect the current requirement. Before making any payment, read the official 2026 fee notice and the instructions attached to the individual allotment. If the notice and allotment instructions appear inconsistent, contact the designated admission authority or college through its official contact details and seek clarification before paying.

Check the full amount due, including tuition and any other payable charges specified for the allotted seat. Confirm whether a security deposit, admission fee or other payment is required, and whether any amount already paid will be adjusted. Verify the accepted payment methods and use only the official payment link, portal or account details identified in the current notice. Do not rely on links forwarded through unofficial messages or on bank information copied from an older document. Confirm the precise final payment date and time, including any stated time zone or portal cut-off, and allow enough time for processing. Keep a copy of the notice and your allotment instructions for reference.

Payment and reporting may have separate deadlines. If the schedule gives one date or time for fee payment and another for reporting at the allotted college, treat them as distinct requirements and complete each by its own cut-off. Paying does not necessarily complete college reporting or other admission formalities. After submitting payment, save the transaction receipt, reference number and any confirmation message. Then check the official portal or contact the authorized office to confirm that the payment has been recorded against your admission. If a transaction is pending or unsuccessful, follow the official help process promptly rather than paying again without checking its status. Retain all records until admission is confirmed.

Begin by checking the Gujarat counselling authority’s official portal and published notices regularly. Use the authority’s updates as the source of truth rather than relying solely on social media posts, forwarded messages, or unofficial summaries. Read every notice carefully, including any instructions about eligibility, document verification, payment methods, reporting locations, and revised schedules. Keep your registered mobile number and email address accessible, and check them for counselling communications. Dates and procedures may change, so verify the latest schedule directly with the counselling authority before taking action, even if you have already saved an earlier timetable.

If you receive an allotment, download the allotment letter from the official portal as soon as it is available. Save a digital copy in a secure location and keep a printed copy with your counselling documents. Record the fee-payment cut-off and the reporting cut-off separately in a calendar, with reminders set ahead of each deadline. Follow the instructions for each step: completing payment does not necessarily complete reporting, and reporting does not replace any required online confirmation or document submission. Check that payment has been acknowledged and retain receipts, confirmations, and relevant screenshots. Arrange travel and collect required originals and copies early, allowing time to resolve missing-document or technical issues.

(NEET  )If a step or instruction is unclear, contact the designated counselling helpline or the allotted college’s admission office using contact details published by an official source. Ask specific questions, note the date and response, and do not assume that a pending query pauses a deadline. If you are not allotted a seat, continue monitoring official notices for any further process and follow only the directions formally issued by the authority. Participation in the stray-vacancy round does not guarantee an allotment, and an unallotted candidate should not make plans on the assumption that a seat will become available. Keep documents and login details ready, but confirm eligibility and next steps against the latest notice before submitting anything or making payments.
