FMGE Result 2024 Released : The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) released the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) December 2024 session results. The FMGE Exams 2024 were conducted on January 12, 2025. Candidates can check their results on the official website, natboard.edu.in.
The FMGE 2024 result PDF includes the candidate’s application ID, roll number, marks out of 300, and their pass/fail status. The official website states that after January 27, 2025, candidates will be able to download their individual scorecards.
Only 30% Candidates Passed FMGE Exams 2024
The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) reported a high failure rate in the recent exam, with about 70% of the 44,390 candidates unable to pass.
Out of 45,550 registered candidates, 31,236 failed to meet the passing marks, while only 13,149 (29.62%) passed. Although this is the highest pass percentage in the past three sessions, it remains lower than the 32.21% recorded in December 2022.

Marks Awarded to All Students : FMGE Result 2024 Released
Subject matter experts reviewed the FMGE-December 2024 paper and found one question to be technically inaccurate. As a result, every applicant received full credit for answering that question.
FMGE Result 2024 Released : What Happens Now?
Candidates can download their individual scorecard from January 27, 2025, on the NBEMS official website.
Candidates who pass the FMGE December 2024 exam must collect their pass certificates in person. This will require them to verify their identity and credentials during the process. A separate announcement will be made on the certificate distribution timeline.
FMGE Result 2024 Released : Important Guidelines and Updates
It’s crucial to remember that the NBEMS-issued FMGE December 2024 scorecard cannot be used to register with any State Medical Council.
Regardless of whether the results have been announced or a pass certificate has been awarded, candidates are reminded that any instance of ineligibility or unfair practices discovered at any point during the FMGE process will result in the cancellation of their candidature.
Additionally, because the NBEMS Examination Ethics Committee is still conducting investigations, the results of seven candidates have been withheld. These consist of cases involving delayed security clearances, legal issues, or unfair means.
