Posted on February 15, 2024February 15, 2024 By neet bulletin No Comments on CBSE Issues Guidelines for Grade 10 and 12 Board Exams Amid Farmer Protest in Delhi

Farmer Protest in Delhi : The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has recently released guidelines for the upcoming Grade 10 and 12 board exams. These guidelines come at a time when the national capital, Delhi, is witnessing protests by farmers against the new agricultural laws.

The CBSE, in its official statement, has assured students and parents that all necessary precautions will be taken to ensure the safety and well-being of the students appearing for the exams. The board has emphasized the importance of following the COVID-19 protocols and maintaining a safe environment during the examination process.

One of the key guidelines issued by the CBSE is the mandatory use of face masks by all students and staff members inside the examination centers. The board has also advised maintaining social distancing norms and ensuring proper sanitization facilities at the exam venues.

Furthermore, the CBSE has made arrangements for the provision of hand sanitizers and thermal screening at the entry points of the examination centers. Students showing any symptoms of illness will be provided with separate rooms for their exams.

Regarding the syllabus for the board exams, the CBSE has clarified that the exams will be conducted based on the reduced syllabus as per the earlier notification. This decision was taken to ease the burden on students due to the disruptions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The CBSE has also addressed concerns regarding the mode of examination. The board has stated that the exams will be conducted in offline mode, following the traditional pen-and-paper format. However, considering the prevailing circumstances, the CBSE has assured that all necessary precautions will be taken to ensure the safety of the students.

It is important to note that the CBSE has also provided an option for students who are unable to appear for the exams due to valid reasons such as illness or any other unavoidable circumstances. Such students will be given an opportunity to appear for the exams at a later date, once the situation improves.

Additionally, the CBSE has advised all schools to provide the necessary support and guidance to the students to help them prepare for the exams effectively. The board has emphasized the importance of regular practice, revision, and seeking clarification from teachers to ensure a better understanding of the subjects.

Amidst the ongoing farmer protests in Delhi, the CBSE has assured that all necessary arrangements will be made to ensure the smooth conduct of the board exams. The board has emphasized its commitment to the well-being and academic progress of the students.

In conclusion, the CBSE has issued guidelines for the Grade 10 and 12 board exams, taking into consideration the safety and well-being of the students. These guidelines include the mandatory use of face masks, social distancing, and sanitization measures. The exams will be conducted based on the reduced syllabus, and students unable to appear for the exams will be given an opportunity at a later date. The CBSE has also advised schools to provide support to the students during their exam preparation. Despite the ongoing farmer protests in Delhi, the CBSE is committed to ensuring the smooth conduct of the exams.
