A grand and inspiring “Pariksha Par Charcha” program was organized today by the Department of Culture at Ras Bihari Bose Subharti University, Dehradun, under the Rashtra Bodh program. The objective of the program was to free students from exam-related stress and develop self-confidence, positive thinking, patriotism, and disciplined life values in them.
The chief guest of the program was the Director of Higher Education, Uttarakhand Government, Dehradun, (Dr.) Vishwanath Khali. He was given a grand welcome and felicitated by the university family upon his arrival. The program was graced by the special dignified presence of the university’s Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Deshdeepak and Director of L.B.S. Lokpriya Hospital Prof. (Dr.) Jeevan Asha.
The program commenced with lamp lighting and floral tributes to the portraits of national heroes Ras Bihari Bose and Sridev Suman.
In his inspiring address, chief guest Prof. (Dr.) Vishwanath Khali encouraged students to consider exams not as a source of fear, but as an opportunity for self-assessment and self-development. He stated that in the present time, it is essential for youth to be mentally strong, self-confident, and dedicated to the nation. He called upon students to move forward with positive thinking, time management, and continuous dedication towards their goals, free from stress. He also said that the Rashtrabodh lecture series conducted by Dr. Atul Krishna is a resolve to transform the real youth power of the nation into an aware and characterful youth power.

In his patriotic address, Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Deshdeepak said that the purpose of education is not merely to pass examinations, but to develop morality, discipline, a spirit of service, and patriotism within students. Highlighting Dr. Atul Krishna’s goal, he urged students to draw inspiration from the lives of great freedom fighters and revolutionaries, stating that challenges make a person stronger. He motivated students to face examinations with self-confidence and patience.
Director of L.B.S. Lokpriya Hospital Prof. (Dr.) Jeevan Asha specifically addressed students on the importance of mental health and a positive lifestyle. She said that stress during exams is natural, but it can be effectively controlled through proper routine, positive thinking, and self-control. She called upon students to move forward in life with a healthy mindset and a spirit of national interest.
On this occasion, a special presentation of the books “Rashtra Anubhuti” and “Uttarakhand Ke Krantikari,” authored by Dr. Atul Krishna, was also held. Through these books, students were introduced to patriotism, sacrifice, and the inspiring lives of Uttarakhand’s great revolutionaries.
During the program, Aradhana, a student from the Nursing Department, shed light on the life and contributions of the great freedom fighter Ras Bihari Bose, while Sanskriti Rana impressively presented the inspiring life story of the immortal revolutionary Shri Dev Suman. These presentations further strengthened the spirit of patriotism and sacrifice among the students.
Concluding the program, the “Azad Hind Gaan” presented by Mr. Raman Krishna Kimothi, member of the Department of Culture and Academic Coordinator of the university, during the vote of thanks, resonated the entire atmosphere with the spirit of patriotism.
