*Chief Guest Dr. Manisha Dhyani and Guest of Honour Prof. Dr. Sanjenbam Emon Chanu Inspired Students with the Values of Service, Sensitivity and Professional Ethics*

Narayan Swami College of Nursing, functioning under Ras Bihari Bose Subharti University, organised a grand Nurses Day and Oath-Taking Ceremony on the occasion of International Nurses Day. The programme commenced at 10:00 AM in the presence of university officials, faculty members and a large number of nursing students.

The objective of the ceremony was to honour the invaluable contribution of nursing professionals to society and to inspire students towards the values of service, dedication and ethics. Speakers highlighted the importance of discipline, humanity, compassion and commitment in the nursing profession.

The programme was conducted under the gracious presence and guidance of Vice Chancellor Dr. Desh Deepak, Director General Major General Dr. G. K. Thapliyal and Registrar Mr. Khalid Hasan. Their motivational presence added dignity and significance to the occasion.

Dr. Manisha Dhyani, Registrar of the Uttarakhand Nursing Council and Principal of State College of Nursing, attended the programme as the Chief Guest. In her address, she encouraged students to uphold the values of the nursing profession with honesty, sensitivity and dedication. She also emphasised the vital role of skilled nurses in strengthening healthcare services.

Prof. Dr. Sanjenbam Emon Chanu, Head of the Department of Child Health Nursing at Himalayan College of Nursing, Swami Rama Himalayan University, attended the event as the Guest of Honour. She motivated the students and appreciated the institution’s continuous efforts towards excellence in nursing education.

As part of the programme, an oath-taking ceremony was organised in which nursing students pledged to serve humanity with integrity and to fulfil their professional responsibilities with sincerity and dedication. The ceremony reflected the students’ commitment towards the noble nursing profession.

The event also featured cultural performances, dance presentations and various competitions, making the programme vibrant and memorable. The active participation of students and faculty members played a significant role in the successful organisation of the event.

At the conclusion of the programme, the management and faculty members of Narayan Swami College of Nursing expressed heartfelt gratitude to all distinguished guests, participants and members of the organising committee for making the event a grand success.
