Industry-oriented training under Mahindra Pride Classroom Program to enhance students’ employability

Ras Bihari Bose Subharti University, Dehradun has taken a significant step towards promoting skill development and employment-oriented training by signing an important Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Nandi Foundation, Hyderabad. This collaboration will be implemented under the Mahindra Pride Classroom Program, aiming to equip students with skills aligned with modern industry requirements.
The agreement, executed under the guidance of Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Himanshu Aeran, is being regarded as a crucial initiative towards the holistic development of students. Under this program, students will receive structured training in communication skills, personality development, soft skills, and other competencies essential for employment.
Dr. Aeran expressed confidence that the program will not only prepare students for a competitive environment but also open up better employment opportunities for them. He emphasized that the training modules have been designed in accordance with industry expectations to ensure a tangible enhancement in students’ employability.
On this occasion, Training Coordinator Tarun Sen and Program Manager Akshay Kumar from Nandi Foundation were specially present. From Ras Bihari Bose Subharti University, Registrar Khalid Hasan, Dean Academics Dr. Manmohan Gupta, and Placement Officer Mrs. Uma Bohara were also present.
In the joint statement, it was emphasized that this partnership with Nandi Foundation will prove to be a milestone in shaping students’ careers. Representatives from Nandi Foundation also described the collaboration as a positive and impactful initiative in the field of education and skill development.
Notably, this MoU will lay a strong foundation for long-term collaboration between both institutions in the areas of education, skill development, and career advancement of students.
