Founder President Dr. Atul Krishna Calls Upon Youth to Connect with Indian Culture, Values and Nation-Building
Dehradun, September 15, 2026: A ‘Youth Dialogue’ on the theme ‘Rashtra Bodh’ was organised at Ras Bihari Bose Subharti University, Dehradun, jointly by the Department of Culture and Abhyudaya Bharat Rising Forum. The programme aimed at sensitising newly admitted students towards national awareness, pride in the nation, a sense of duty and the spirit of national service.
The programme commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp and a welcome address to the guests. Prior to the main session, a documentary based on ‘Operation Sindoor’ was screened for the students. The documentary highlighted the courage, valour and dedication of the Indian Armed Forces towards safeguarding the nation. A video showcasing the activities and objectives of the Abhyudaya Bharat Rising Forum was also presented on the occasion.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Atul Krishna, Founder of the Subharti Group and President of Ras Bihari Bose Subharti University, said that ‘Rashtra Bodh’ awakens within every citizen a sense of love, pride, duty and commitment towards the nation. He called upon the students to connect themselves with Indian culture, the country’s glorious traditions and national values, and to play a constructive role in nation-building.
Shri Dhananjay Ji, Department Pracharak of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), who was the Chief Guest, said that ‘Rashtra Bodh’ is not limited merely to an emotional attachment to the nation. Sincerely performing one’s duties, respecting Indian culture and heritage, and developing a sense of responsibility towards society are also important components of national consciousness.
He emphasised that the ideas, questions, dialogue and active participation of young people play a significant role in shaping the future of the country. He encouraged the students to express their curiosity through dialogue and to channelise their energy and talent towards nation-building.
Ms. Avani Kamal, Trustee of the Subharti Group, was present as a special guest. Mr. Raman Krishna Kimothi, Assistant Director, ISGR Department and member of the Department of Culture, also addressed the students. He highlighted the significance of ‘Rashtra Bodh’, the role of youth in nation-building, and the importance of remaining connected with Indian culture and life values. He expressed his gratitude to all the guests, organisers and participants for making the programme a success.
The programme was conducted by Ms. Midat Aslam, Assistant Professor at the university. Dr. Rajesh Tiwari, Head of the Department of Culture; Mr. Vinay Semwal, Secretary, Department of Culture and Head of the Department of Computer Applications; university staff members and a large number of newly admitted students were present on the occasion.
The programme concluded with the singing of the National Song and the National Anthem.
Through the ‘Youth Dialogue’, the students were conveyed the message that ‘Rashtra Bodh’ is not merely an expression of love for the country, but also a commitment to duty, discipline, social responsibility and continuous service to the nation.
