Dental College, Regional Institute of Medical Science (RIMS), Imphal has bagged the first position among dental colleges at the national level for their outstanding performance in orchestrating the month long celebration of World Oral Health Day 2023.
Dr B Praveen Reddy, Principal Dental College, RIMS Imphal received the award from Dr M Srinivas, Director, AIIMS, New Delhi and Dr Atul Goel, Director General, Health Services, MoHFW in the presence of Dr L Swasticharan, Addl Deputy Director General of Health Services, MoHFW and Dr Ritu Duggal, Chief, CDER, AIIMS, New Delhi on December 4 at the felicitation ceremony of best performers of World Oral Health Day 2023 held during the 3rd meeting of the National Steering Group of Oral Health at AIIMS, New Delhi, said a statement issued by N Philip Singh, media advisor, RIMS Imphal. The Department of Public Health Dentistry, Dental College, RIMS Imphal was assigned with the task of organizing the various oral health promotion and prevention activities under the theme “Be proud of your mouth”.
