Poster presentation, guest session and certificate distribution held at Lokpriya Auditorium; Preeti, Atifa and Priya secure first position

The Faculty of Allied & Health Care under Ras Bihari Bose Subharti University, organized the concluding ceremony of “Laboratory Professional Week” on Thursday at the Lokpriya Auditorium in the university’s Kotda campus.
The programme, held under the theme “Lab Story: To Infinity and Beyond For Our Patients,” aimed to highlight the role of laboratory professionals and promote academic engagement among students.
The event commenced with a poster presentation competition on the theme “AI in Healthcare,” where students actively participated and presented their ideas on the application of artificial intelligence in healthcare systems.
A guest session was subsequently organized from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, attended by Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Prof.Dr. Desh Deepak sir, Guest Speaker Prof. Dr. Swapna Kurup Rajgopal HOD MicroBiology,GBCM, Jhajhra, Director Lokpriya Dr. Jeevan Asha, and Principal of the Faculty of Paramedical and Allied Health Sciences, Dr. Anirban Patra (PT), along with faculty members and students.
During the session, Prof.Dr. Swapna Kurup Rajgopal delivered a lecture on ethics in laboratory professions, emphasizing professionalism and responsibility in healthcare services. Dr. Narotam Sharma also spoke on the scope and prospects of the medical laboratory profession, guiding students about future career opportunities.
The programme concluded with a certificate distribution ceremony, where winners of the poster presentation competition were felicitated. Preeti, Atifa and Priya secured the first position, Manisha stood second, while Ragini and Ayush secured the third position. All participants were appreciated for their enthusiasm and presentations.
The event was successfully conducted with active participation from students and faculty, reflecting the institution’s commitment to academic excellence and professional development.
