Dehradun – On the occasion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday, students of Dr. Mukti Bhatnagar School of Fine Arts at Ras Bihari Bose Subharti University, Dehradun made beautiful portraits and cartoons of the PM.
The students made portraits showing different sides of the Prime Minister’s personality and cartoons based on his historic decisions and schemes.
HOD of Fine Arts, Mr. Santosh Kumar said that students made these portraits with respect for the PM and with their own interest to wish him a happy birthday in a creative way.
University Trustee Dr. Atul Krishna, Vice Chancellor Dr. Desh Deepak, Academic Director Ms. Avani Kamal and Dean Dr. Rita Tiwari appreciated the students and also wished PM Modi on his birthday. They said that honouring the leader of the country through art shows patriotism and positive thinking towards nation building.
In the portraits, the seriousness and strong will on PM’s face was clearly visible, while the cartoons showed government schemes and the country’s progress in a simple and creative way. Many teachers also came to see the artwork and praised the students.
17 students of BFA and MFA – Kajal, Shubham, Anuj, Priya, Sheetal, Aman, Piyushi, Anshika, Riddhi, Suryansh, Rishabh, Gunika, Sakshi, Muskan, Akhilesh, Bipasha and Himanshu contributed to this work. They showed themes like Atmanirbhar Bharat, Digital India and India’s global image through their art.
