Participates as Distinguished Guest, Panelist, and Chairperson at National Conference in New Delhi; Highlights Digitalization as the Future of Dentistry
New Delhi: Dr. Himanshu Aeran, Vice Chancellor of Ras Bihari Bose Subharti University, Dehradun, elevated the prestige of the university by marking his impactful presence at the prestigious national-level conference Digi Smile Next – Digital Dentistry National Conference 2026. The two-day conference was held on March 28–29, 2026, at Dr. Ambedkar International Centre, New Delhi, under the joint aegis of the Indian Dental Association and Unicorn Denmart.
Dr. Aeran participated as a Distinguished Guest in the inaugural session, where he was honored by Dr. Manoj Srivastava, National President of the Indian Dental Association, and Dr. Ashok Dhoble, Secretary General.
During the conference, Dr. Himanshu Aeran also contributed as a Speaker and Panelist, presenting his views on the topic “Digitalization in Oral Health – Policies to Practice.” He emphasized that digital technologies have made dental treatment faster, more precise, and highly reliable. He highlighted modern advancements such as oral scanners, CAD-CAM technology, 3D printing, and digital navigation in implantology as transformative forces in dentistry.
In his address, Dr. Aeran also mentioned that digitalization in the academic sector—particularly initiatives like the Government of India’s DigiLocker—has proven highly beneficial for students. He stated that Subharti University is systematically adopting such innovations to provide modern facilities to its students.
Notably, Dr. Himanshu Aeran was also appointed as the Scientific Presentation Paper Chairperson (Digi Smile Next Committee), which stands as a testament to his expertise and leadership at the national level.
The conference witnessed participation from over 1,500 dental professionals, academicians, researchers, and students from across the country, making it a significant national platform in the field of digital dentistry.
