A one-day workshop on “Management of IPR in Academic Institutes” was successfully organized on March 26, 2026, at the Lokpriya Auditorium of Ras Bihari Bose Subharti University in collaboration with UCOST.
The session was delivered by Mrs. Sangeeta Nagar, Former Scientist ‘F’ & Head, IPR Division, TIFAC, DST, Government of India, and Senior Scientist at SS Rana & Co., who served as the resource person. In her address, she highlighted the significance of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) in academic institutions and explained how innovative ideas can be protected through proper IPR mechanisms. She also guided participants on the process of applying for and safeguarding intellectual property.
The program was graced by the presence of Dr. Himanshu Aeran, Vice Chancellor, who emphasized the importance of IPR awareness and the promotion of startups among faculty members and students.
