Inspired by the vision of education and nation-building of Dr. Atul Krishna

Under the banner of Subharti Mahotsav–2026 organized at Ras Bihari Bose Subharti University, the Fresher and Farewell Ceremony along with a grand Award Ceremony and Grand Gala Evening was conducted with immense enthusiasm and dignity. The university campus was immersed in the spirit of national unity, cultural diversity, and youthful energy.

The successful organization of the program was accomplished under the inspiring leadership and visionary guidance of the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Himanshu Aeran. In his message for the occasion, Dr. Himanshu Aeran stated:
“Subharti University is not merely an educational institution, but a laboratory of nation-building, where along with education, values and national character are equally nurtured.”
Under his leadership, the university has presented an excellent coordination of education, culture, social commitment, and nation-building.

The entire program framework was systematically executed under the guidance of Pro Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Desh Deepak. He encouraged students to remain disciplined, develop leadership qualities, and stay conscious of their national responsibilities.
During the Award Ceremony held on the final day of the Mahotsav, winners of various literary, cultural, sports, and creative competitions were felicitated. Performances on the main stage captivated the audience. Singing, dance, poetry recitation, shayari, fashion show, stand-up comedy, and band performances made the evening memorable.
A special attraction of the evening was the melodious performance by Indian Idol fame singer Sankalp Khetwal and his band, which filled the entire atmosphere with energy and enthusiasm. Sanawar Ali Khan from All India Radio Dehradun presented his mesmerizing Sufi Kalam, adding further charm to the evening.

Chief Guest Shri Anil Goel, Vice President, Bharatiya Janata Party, Uttarakhand, expressed his thoughts in his inspiring address:
“Youth power is the true capital of the nation. The way Subharti University is integrating patriotism, cultural pride, and social responsibility with education is exemplary not only for Uttarakhand but for the entire country.”
As a distinguished guest, Padma Shri awardee folk singer Dr. Madhuri Barthwal emphasized that preserving Indian folk culture is the responsibility of the younger generation and also presented beautiful folk songs.
Dr. Deepti Rawat, General Secretary, BJP Uttarakhand, encouraged female students to come forward in leadership roles and actively participate in nation-building.

Miss Indrani Pandhi, film actress and social woman entrepreneur, shared inspiring thoughts on self-reliance, creativity, and women empowerment, and appreciated the efforts of Subharti University.
The presence of distinguished dignitaries further enhanced the prestige of the program, including Governor Nominee and BOG Member Major General Aswal, Trust Director Brigadier V. P. Singh, Special Executive Officer Char Dham Yatra (Uttarakhand Government) P. P. Nautiyal, Director of Lokpriya Hospital Dr. Jeevan Asha, NSS State Officer Uttarakhand Dr. Sunayana Rawat, Former National Executive Member ABVP Dr. Bhan Singh, among others.
The national character of the university was clearly reflected in this event. Students from various states of the country showcased their respective cultural heritage, embodying the spirit of “Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat.” The harmonious blend of folk arts, Indian traditions, and modern expressions reflected the university’s inclusive and nationalist vision.

The entire event was imbued with the nationalist vision, cultural values, and academic excellence inspired by Dr. Atul Krishna, Founder Chairman of the Subharti Education Group. Under his guidance, the Subharti Education Group has consistently prioritized Indianness, value-based education, and socially oriented development. His belief that “Education is not merely about degrees, but about building character, culture, and national responsibility” was visible in every dimension of the program.
Co-Director Education (Academics) Avani Kamal stated in her message:
“Subharti Mahotsav is not merely a celebration, but a vibrant platform of talent, discipline, and value-based education. This event inspires students to move forward with confidence, leadership ability, and social commitment.”
Controller of Examinations Dr. Pradeep Kumar Sharma, Registrar Khalid Hasan, Administrative Officer Dr. Ravinder Pratap Singh, ADP Dr. Lokesh Tyagi, Dean Academics Dr. Manmohan Gupta, Dean Student Welfare Nitika Kaushal, from Subharti Hospital Dr. Prashant Bhatnagar and Dr. Anubha Agarwal, from the Cultural Department Secretary Vinay Semwal and member Raman Krishna Kimothi, along with all Deans, Heads of Departments, Principals, and faculty members actively participated and contributed to the grand success of the program.
New students were warmly welcomed, while final-year students were given an emotional farewell. The occasion became not just a cultural program but a symbol of intergenerational bonding and the transmission of values.
Overall, the Award Ceremony and Gala Evening of Subharti Mahotsav–2026 proved that Ras Bihari Bose Subharti University is continuously reaching new heights in the fields of education, culture, and national consciousness.
