A Workshop on “Guided Implant Surgery” was successfully organized by the Department of Prosthodontics, Chandra Dental College & Hospital, Barabanki on 8″ January, 2026 under the guidance of Vice-Principal and Head of the Department, Dr. Arvind Kumar Singh.
Such a specialized academic event was organized for the first time in Barabanki. The esteemed Guest Speaker, Dr. Navneet Kumar, a renowned expert in Implant Dentistry, delivered an enlightening lecture and performed a live surgical procedure, providing valuable clinical insights.
The Guest of Honor, Dr. Shruti Sharma Grover, Director, Board Member and CDE Convenor, CDCH, Barabanki, commended the Department of Prosthodontics for organizing such an academically enriching and well-executed program.
The Chief Guest, Dr. Kamleshwar Singh, Vice- President, U.P. Dental Council, highlighted the role of continuous learning and skill enhancement for dental professionals and encouraged organizing more such workshops in the future. Dr. Arun Verma, Principal, CDCH, Barabanki, commended the meticulous planning and smooth execution of the program and emphasized the importance of integrating recent scientific advancements with routine clinical procedures.
The faculty members of the Department of Prosthodontics, Dr. Gaurav Chandra, Dr. Amrita Jayaswal, Dr. Pankaj Kumar Yadav, Dr. Pradeep Kumar Pandey and Dr. Nivedita Rai and the Organizing Team members, Dr. Kavita Nitish Garg, Dr. Dipti Singh, Dr. Ashutosh Pratap Singh and Dr. Kasturi Roy actively participated in the event, contributing to the success of the program. The event reaffirmed the Institute’s commitment to academic excellence and advanced dental education.
