Head of Subharti Fine Arts Department Mr. Santosh Sahni Honoured in Ayodhya

Mr. Santosh Sahni, Head of the Department of Fine Arts and renowned painter of ‘Dr. Mukti Bhatnagar School of Fine Arts’, Ras Bihari Bose Subharti University, Dehradun, was invited as the Chief Guest Artist and honoured with a national award at the prestigious three-day National Art Workshop ‘Janmanas Ke Ram’ organized at the historic Janki Ghat’s Ram Mahal in Ayodhya Dham, Uttar Pradesh.

Many well-known artists from India and abroad participated in this national-level workshop, where Mr. Santosh Sahni was felicitated with a memento and traditional shawl for his excellent art practice, sketches and unprecedented contribution in the field of fine arts.

On this pious occasion of the national camp, painter Santosh Sahni also made a very lively, devotional and captivating painting on the theme ‘Hanuman Ke Ram’, which became the center of attraction and special appreciation for all the saints, artists and viewers present there.

On this great achievement of bringing glory to the university at the national level in the holy premises of Ayodhya Dham, the Hon’ble President of Ras Bihari Bose Subharti University Dr. Atul Krishna, Vice Chancellor Dr. Desh Deepak and Director Academics Ms. Avani Kamal along with the entire university administration extended their heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to him.

The management of the institute said that this honour of Mr. Sahni is not only a recognition of his personal talent, but it is also a living proof of the high academic and artistic standard of the Fine Arts Department of Subharti University, which will inspire the students of the institute to set new records in the field of art in the coming time.
