➢ A grand event organized in collaboration with Lalit Kala Academi Regional Center, Garhi, New Delhi and Indian Tribal Institute of Information Technology – Subharti students win all top awards

Dehradun, September 27, 2025.
On the occasion of Seva Parv 2025, Dehradun witnessed a unique confluence of colors, art, and culture. Under the aegis of the Lalit Kala Academi Regional Center, Garhi, New Delhi, in collaboration with the Indian Tribal Institute of Information Technology and Sanskriti School, Dehradun, a one-day painting workshop was organized. Nearly 300 participants, including professional artists, college, and school students, expressed their imagination and creativity through colors, presenting vibrant depictions of “Vikshit Bharat ”

The event was graced by Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’, Former Union Minister and Former Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, as the Chief Guest. Prof. Dr. Himanshu Aeran, Vice Chancellor of Ras Bihari Bose Subharti University, attended as the Guest of Honour, while jury members included Mr. Manoj Kumar Singh, Mr. Karnal Bharat Bhandari, Mr. Rahul Kumar, and Mr. Santosh Sahni, lending special prestige to the occasion.

Students of the Fine Arts Department of Ras Bihari Bose Subharti University, Dehradun, achieved remarkable success by securing all three top positions in the competition:

First Prize (₹25,000/-): Akhilesh Gaur

Second Prize (₹15,000/-): Shubham Sungadiyal

Third Prize (₹10,000/-): Vanshika Badola

The credit for this glorious achievement goes to Mr. Santosh Kumar, Head of the Department of Fine Arts, whose guidance inspired the students to reach new heights.

Chief Guest Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ remarked:
“Art is not just a medium of expression; it is the foundation of nation-building. The dream of a developed India will only be realized when our young generation enriches society and culture with creativity and values. From Uttarakhand, the land of divinity where nature and culture blend beautifully, this message must spread across the nation — that art and culture are our true heritage.
I especially congratulate the students of Ras Bihari Bose Subharti University, who have secured all the top three positions in this competition. They have proved that Subharti is not just an institution of education but also a torchbearer of creativity and nation-building.”

Guest of Honour Prof. Dr. Himanshu Aeran, Vice Chancellor, Ras Bihari Bose Subharti University, said:
