Ahead of the NEET (UG) 2025 exam scheduled for May 4, Mysuru Deputy Commissioner G Lakshmikanth Reddy chaired a review meeting to ensure smooth and fair conduct of the examination. A total of 7,709 candidates will write the exam across 20 designated centres in the district.
During the meeting, the DC instructed all concerned departments to make systematic preparations in line with National Testing Agency (NTA) guidelines. “Every step must be taken to ensure a seamless, secure and unbiased examination environment,” he emphasized.
The NEET (UG) exam is a national-level test for admission into undergraduate medical and dental courses, and involves strict protocols. The DC also directed the police department to make elaborate security arrangements at and around all exam centres to maintain order and prevent malpractice.
Principals of PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalayas, Nutan Punj and Mithilesh Kumar, along with police officials and other department heads, attended the session to coordinate efforts.
With thousands of aspirants and high stakes, Mysuru authorities are aiming to conduct the exam in a disciplined and fair manner, ensuring that all protocols are strictly followed.
