Mixology Creations 2025 Showcases Students’ Talent at Ras Bihari Bose Subharti University

The Department of Hotel Management and Catering Technology at Ras Bihari Bose Subharti University (RBBSU) hosted its annual event “Mixology Creations 2025” with great enthusiasm. Students demonstrated their creativity and technical expertise through innovative drink recipes, flavor balancing, garnishing artistry, nutritional insights, and modern serving techniques.


The program was inaugurated by the Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Himanshu Aeran. In his address, he said, “At RBBSU, we focus not only on theoretical learning but also on practical training aligned with industry needs. Mixology today is no longer just the art of mixing drinks; it represents a fusion of science, creativity, and innovation. Our students are being trained to meet the global challenges of the hospitality and tourism industry.”


Chief Guest Prof. Dr. Shiv Mohan Verma, Principal of IHM Dehradun, remarked, “The hotel and restaurant industry is rapidly witnessing new innovations. Along with taste and presentation, focus must also be on nutrition, eco-friendly serving, and smart technologies. The future mixologists must embrace all these aspects together.”


Head of Department, Mr. Ashish K. Gagat, highlighted that the event served as a strong platform to provide career-oriented education and hands-on training to students. The program was also graced by Pro Vice-Chancellor Dr. Desh Deepak, Registrar Mr. Khalid Hasan, Controller of Examinations Prof. (Dr.) Pradeep Sharma, Administrative Officer Dr. Ravindra Pratap, along with several senior faculty members and officials.

Under the leadership of Mr. Ashish Gagat, this event significantly enhanced students’ confidence, global-level technical skills, and innovative thinking.
