– Honored for remarkable contributions in education, social service, and literature
Dehradun. Eminent educationist, visionary thinker, and Chairman of the Subharti University Group, Dr. Atul Krishna, has been conferred with the prestigious “Mahakavi Gopaldas ‘Neeraj’ Samman 2025.” The award was presented to him at a grand ceremony held in the Subharti campus.
The honor was bestowed by Mr. Mrigank Prabhakar, Secretary of the Subharti Mahakavi Gopaldas Neeraj Foundation and son of the legendary poet, along with noted Urdu poet and former Vice-Chairman of the Uttarakhand Language Institute, Prof. Afzal Manglori, who serves as the Foundation’s Public Relations Secretary. They presented Dr. Krishna with a shawl, bouquet, and memento.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof. Manglori remarked, “Dr. Atul Krishna is not only a pillar of the academic world but also a sensitive personality who understands the pulse of literature and society. His close, almost familial association with Mahakavi Neeraj Ji is well known, and his contribution to education, society, and literature stands as a beacon for future generations.”
Expressing his gratitude, Dr. Atul Krishna said—

The life and works of Mahakavi Neeraj Ji remind us that literature is not merely about words—it is a powerful tool for nation-building, character formation, patriotism, and social harmony. Today’s poets must draw inspiration from Neeraj Ji and create works that inspire positive change and guide the nation toward a brighter future.”
On this occasion, Dr. Krishna also presented his widely acclaimed book “Rashtra Anubhuti” to the Foundation and paid floral tribute to Mahakavi Neeraj.
On this proud occasion, Professor Dr. Himanshu Aeran, Vice Chancellor of Ras Bihari Bose Subharti University, extended heartfelt congratulations to Dr. Krishna, describing the honour as a matter of immense pride for the entire Subharti family.
