Introduction
Recently, NTA announced that NEET 2021 (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) answer key any results date will be soon announced. Lakhs of students appeared for the NEET UG 2021 entrance rest and are eagerly waiting for NTA to release the results. NTA (National Testing Agency) will soon be releasing the date of NEET 2021 entrance exam results. Apart from this, a recent announcement of correction of application form for phases 1 and 2 was made. Now the dates have been extended as well.
NTA extended the NEET 2021 application form correction date
The deadline for NEET 2021 correction of the application form for phases one and two has been extended by NTA. Candidates who filled the phase 1 form also filled the phase 2 form. The students are asked that they should recheck every detail carefully. The date of correction has also been extended to 14th October 2021 till 11:50 pm. Earlier it was the date was 13th October 2021. So, NTA has asked students to carefully check data that can be corrected and those are gender, email, nationality, category, subcategory and field of the second phase. It is available for those students who have done one-time corrections earlier. The email must be carefully checked as the scanned copy of the results and our sheets will be sent by registered email.
The students can correct it by going to neet.nta.nic.in.
NTA NEET 2021 entrance exam result update :
NTA has announced in its latest notice that they will be sending the scanned copy of the OMR answer sheet and the result of the registered email. Hence, they must provide the correct and working email Id. NTA has still not released the answer key and no official announcement has been made regarding it. It is predicted that NTA will release the answer key only after the correction window gets closed. So, it can be expected that it will be released by October 15.
Moreover, the candidates will get around 36 to 48 hours to raise objections. In the answer key if they have and according to it, the final answer key will be prepared. The result will be based on the finalized answer key.
Tiebreaker formula of NEET
Any candidate having the same marks will go through a tie-breaker procedure by NTA. Here is the detail:
- Candidates have a high percentile in biology in the NEET 2021.
- Candidates having a high percentile in Chemistry
- Candidates have less proportion of the number of attempted questions, correct or incorrect in all subjects.
Marking scheme
Four marks are allotted for correct answers and one mark will be deducted for wrong answers. Out of 200 questions, only 180 questions were asked to attempt. 360 marks were for biology and 180 marks each for physics and chemistry out of 720.

Candidates are asked to carefully correct the application form and keep themselves updated. The answer key and results will soon be announced by NTA.
