Dehradun – The three-day art exhibition held under the Sparsh Himalayan Mahotsav 2025 at Gaon Thano concluded yesterday with great grandeur. During this event, the talented students of Ras Bihari Bose Subharti University, Dehradun, from Dr. Mukti Bhatnagar School of Fine Arts and Fashion Design, captivated the audience with their artistic brilliance.

Sparsh Himalayan Mahotsav 2025 Over the course of the three-day festival, 30 students from Subharti University brought to life the serene essence of the Himalayas and the divine flow of the Ganga through their exceptional paintings, sketches, and creative displays. The exhibition venue turned into an “ocean of art,” where the creativity of Subharti’s young artists drew the admiration of all visitors.
Santosh Kumar, Head of Department, gave a special identity to the exhibition with his magnificent paintings on the theme of Ganga. Meanwhile, the emerging artist Ayush Kumar won hearts through a joint presentation of Fine Arts and Performing Arts as part of Dehradun’s Silver Jubilee Cultural Series.
Sparsh Himalayan Mahotsav 2025 Dr. Himanshu Aeran, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor of Ras Bihari Bose Subharti University, graced the occasion as the Guest of Honour. Appreciating the students’ creativity during the valedictory ceremony, he said—
Art is not merely an expression, but a confluence of culture and sensitivity. The objective of Subharti University is to enable our students to bring positive change in society through their skills and creativity. The way our students have portrayed the beauty of the Himalayas and the Ganga in this exhibition is truly inspiring.”
