Dehradun:
Ras Bihari Bose Subharti University, Dehradun, has added another historic milestone to its achievements in the field of education by receiving the prestigious ‘Pride of Nation Award 2025’. This national honour stands as a strong testament to the University’s academic excellence, quality-driven education, and its sustained commitment to nation building.

This proud achievement is a result of the visionary leadership, nationalist outlook, and unwavering commitment of the University’s Founder and Chairman, Prof. Dr. Atul Krishna, who firmly believes in education as a powerful instrument of social transformation. Under his guidance, the University has embraced the concept of holistic development beyond formal academics, integrating education with character building, discipline, leadership skills, and national consciousness. His leadership has demonstrated that higher education is not merely about awarding degrees, but about laying the foundation for a strong, self-reliant, and enlightened India.

The University’s success has also been significantly strengthened by the energetic, progressive, and result-oriented leadership of Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Himanshu Aeran. By prioritising research, innovation, and quality enhancement in teaching and learning, he has consistently worked towards establishing the University’s strong national identity.

On this occasion, Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Himanshu Aeran stated:
“The Pride of Nation Award 2025 is not merely an honour, but a reaffirmation of our collective responsibility. This award is the shared outcome of the vision of our Founder Prof. Dr. Atul Krishna, the commitment of the management, the dedication of our faculty members, and the talent of our students. We are committed to making even more meaningful contributions through education towards the goal of making India a ‘Vishwaguru’.”

The prestigious award was conferred by Prof. Anil Sahasrabudhe, Chairman, National Board of Accreditation (NBA), National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), and National Educational Technology Forum (NETF), Government of India, in the esteemed presence of a Hon’ble Judge of the Kerala High Court. The award ceremony was organised by Veterans India, Delhi.

The University was represented at the ceremony by Prof. Manmohan Gupta, Dean Academics, and Dr. Imran Khan, Dean, Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences.

Notably, this honour, presented on the sacred occasion of Vijay Diwas, underscores the fact that education in India extends far beyond classrooms—it is a living force that nurtures courage, discipline, leadership, and national consciousness.

This achievement is the result of the collective dedication and hard work of the University’s management, faculty members, staff, and students, who continue to strengthen the highest standards of education, innovation, and social responsibility.
