Lucknow, December 11 : The three-day International Environment Olympiad (IEO 2021) organized by Lucknow’s City Montessori School, Gomti Nagar Extension Campus came to a grand closing with a glittering prize distribution ceremony held today. Prizes were given away online to the winners of various competitions amidst music and rejoicing. Students presented a variety of educational-cultural-items delighting the eager audience of parents and guardians with their talents whilst also sending the message of saving the earth from environmental hazards, pollution and global warming. It may be mentioned that CMs Gomti Nagar Extension organized the International Environment Olympiad from 9 to 11 December 2021 with participation of students from 10 countries of the world namely, USA, U.K., Australia, Germany, Ireland, Iran, Vietnam, UAE, Qatar, and various states of India, thus heralding the onset of a Green Revolution to heal the earth from ongoing environmental crisis.

            Blessing the students to make the world a better place, the CMS Founder, renowned educationist, Dr Jagdish Gandhi said that we should resolve our mutual differences and work together to serve mankind and raise the fortunes of the world by active social service. Today it is extremely important to accept the challenges offered by modern lifestyles and evolve new technologies that would save the world from an ecological disaster. Man must live in harmony with nature or the consequences will be terrible and uncontrollable. CMS President and Managing Director, Professor Geeta Gandhi Kingdon, also expressed her concern for the environment and thanked the organizing Principals Ms Manjit Batra and Mrs Sangeeta Bannerji for taking the initiative to put up this grand three day festival and motivate the students to work for the environment.
