Issue raised by the students
Still, the plea has requested to the Union Education Minister and the NTA to reconsider their decision because the date of the NEET-UG 2021 that is September 12 is clashing with other exams such as the Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (JEE), Indian Council of Agricultural Research
(ICAR), All India entrance examinations for Admission UG (AIEEA) And Maharashtra Common Entrance Test(CET)
On the other hand, the compartments exams and improvement exams of CBSE class 12th should be considered. On September 6 CBSE students have to appear for a biology exam, On September 9 for the physics exam and the day after the NEET-UG Exam that is on September 13, students have to appear for their exam.
On September 3, the Supreme Court of India has adjourned the case to Monday as the plea was seeking direction for the clash of several exams on September 12. The plea has asked the CBSE to change the dates of improvement exams and compartment exams of class 12th.
Also, the plea has requested the private colleges and universities to consider the applications of those students who are appearing for private patrachar exams and 2nd Compartment exams on a provisional basis and don’t reject their application due to delayed results.
Thus, students have requested the Education Minister and the NTA to take a sagacious decision regarding the postponement of the NEET-UG Exam to October by considering the student’s mental health, safety and future so that these medical students get a fair chance to prove themselves by
performing well in the exams during this sensitive situation.
