The national testing agency on its official website has released a set of instructions to be followed by the candidates who are going to appear for the offline neet examination on September 12th, 2021.
NEET UPDATES EVERY STUDENT NEEDS TO BE AWARE OF: The set of instructions include the instructions for filling the OMR sheet, instructions to be followed as covid-19 protocol, and some other instructions related to the time of arrival at the examination center. The notice clearly said that every student must go through these instructions and abide by them.
OMR RELATED INSTRUCTIONS:
The national testing agency on its official website has released a sample OMR sheet and a set of instructions followed by it. These instructions said that every student who is going to take the neet examination must use a black or a blue ballpoint pen to mark the OMR sheets as the new correction technology is sensitive and reaches only properly bubbled answers. There should be no cutting or scribblings on the OMR sheet nor should there be the use of any sort of erasing fluids, for example, whiteners. All the personal details including the roll number must be filled in correctly using a blue or black ballpoint pen. In case of any error that occurs during the OMR filling, NTA is not responsible and no additional OMR sheet will be provided. The handling of the OMR sheet must also be taken care of as the instructions said that the sheet must not have any marks of folding or any other sort of unwanted markings. Every OMR sheet has an OMR number that matches with the one written on the question paper so every student must match their OMR numbers with the one written on the question paper. In case the OMR numbers do not match the same should be informed to the invigilator by the candidate.
PROTOCOL RELATED INSTRUCTIONS:
The NTA on the official website said that every candidate taking the neet examination must wear a 3 ply mask, a set of gloves and a bottle of sanitizer would be carried if he thinks it to be essential. It also informs the students that proper sanitization facilities would be maintained at the examination centers by the examination conducting authorities. Under no circumstances should there be sharing of individual objects that include pen, pencil, erasers, etc. The instruction clearly said that in case any candidate fails to follow these rules he/she would be banned from the examination center and the candidature would be canceled.
INSTRUCTIONS RELATED TO THE ARRIVAL AT THE EXAMINATION CENTRE:
There also has been a set of instructions related to the arrival of candidates at the examination center. These instructions said that every candidate must arrive at the center of the examination at least 30 minutes before the commencement of the exam. A margin of 30 minutes was required to make the candidates settle in their respective examination hall and all the inspections could be performed. Also, early arrival would facilitate the students with the location of their respective examination rooms allotted according to their roll numbers. Any candidate who arrives after 15 minutes from the commencement of the exam will not be allowed to enter the examination premises whatsoever be the reasons.
So it is recommended that every student must go to the examination, abiding by all the above-stated rules on the official site. The precautions must be taken full care of and the examination must be attended to following all the protocol-related instructions to avoid covid-19 related hazards.
