NEET UG 2023 results

It is expected that the 2023 UG National Entrance Test (NEET) results will be published soon by the National Testing Agency (NTA). NTA will also be releasing the NEET UG 2023 solution key, OMR sheet, and recorded answers prior to results. Although there has been no official announcement regarding the revenue data, it is expected to be released this month.

Once the NEET UG 2023 results are announced, candidates can check their scores on the official website neet.nta.nic.in.

NEET UG Real 2023: Ranking Scheme

Candidates receive four points for each correct answer and one point deducted for each incorrect answer. Questions with multiple correct answers or questions with no answers score zero points.

For Part A (MCQ):

  • Correct answer or most correct answer: Four points (+4)
  • Each incorrect option is marked with a minus sign (-1).
  • No answer: No rating (0).
  • If more than one correct option is found, four points (+4) are awarded only to those who check one of the correct options.
  • If all the answers are correct, everyone who tries to answer the question gets four points (+4).
  • If none of the options is found to be correct, or the question is incorrect, or the question is discarded, all candidates who appear receive four points (+4), regardless of whether the question was answered by the candidate or not.

For Part B (MCQ):

  • Correct answer: four points (+4)
  • Wrong answer: minus one point (-1)
  • No answer: No rating (0).
  • If more than one correct option is found, four points (+4) are awarded only to those who check one of the correct options.
  • If all the answers are correct, everyone who tries to answer the question gets four points (+4).
  • If a question turns out to be wrong or the question is discarded, everyone who tries to ask a question gets four points (+4). The reason can be due to human or technical error.
  • Candidates are advised to perform calculations using the constants given in the question (if any).
