At Gurugram’s felicitation function, Tanmay Gupta from J&K was presented with Rs 21 lakh. Gupta, the first candidate from Jammu and Kashmir, was awarded Rs 21 lakh at a Gurugram felicitation function. Tanmay Gupta was trying to view his National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test 2021 results online on Wednesday when he received a call from his teacher who told him that “his best news” in his life. NTA released the NEET 2021 results for UG candidates. Three candidates scored full marks of 720. The NEET-UG 2021 exam was attended by more than 16 million students. It took place on 12 September.
Tanmay Gupta awarded Rs 21 lakh:
Gupta and his family were invited by Aakash Institute from Jammu to the mega award ceremony, where students from all over the country were given a cheque ranging from Rs 1 lakh to Rs 5. lakh.
Gupta and two other AIR 1 holders were each awarded Rs 21 lakh by Chairman of Aakash Educational Services Limited J C Choudhary.
Gupta’s success is not due to how long he studied, but rather how well he did it. Gupta stated that he wouldn’t study all day. This was a common perception about toppers. His unique method of studying was that he would spend 4 to 5 hours per day and keep a goal in mind to finish his syllabus.
Gupta stated, “I only read NCERT books.”
He stated that confidence was a key factor in his success.
He said, “I think students are too busy to spend time studying. From the 11th grade, we think that we must study 8-9 hours per day. Your ability to learn and comprehend information is a key factor in how much time you take.” He also said that if you are not confident but fully prepared, it can affect your ability to do well in exams.

Jammu’s Tanmay Gupta has made history as the first Jammu and Kashmir National Topper of NEET2021. He scored a perfect 720 from 720 and was All India Rank 1. This is among over 16 lakh students who participated in the All India medical entry on the 12th of September, 2021. Tanmay stated, “I’m glad I was able to make my UT proud and bring it on top of our Nation as Jammu & Kashmir is still kept apart as far as medical admissions in leading institutions other countries are concerned.”
