The Ministry of HRD, now called the Ministry of Education, GOI, has created the National Testing Agency (NTA), an independent organization for conducting transparent and international standard tests to determine the competence of applicants for admission to top higher education institutions. The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test results (NEET), are expected to be published this month. The process of counseling candidates who have passed the NEET exam will start after the results are released. 15% of the counseling seats will come from All India Quota, while 85 percent will be from the state quota. Three committees will be conducting the AYUSH, Medical, and Veterinary Counseling in All India Quota. These are the Medical Counseling Committee, Ayush Admission Central Counseling Committee, and Veterinary Counseling of India.
NEET 2021 Medical Counselling
The Medical Counselling Committee is responsible for providing counseling services for undergraduate medical (MBBS), and dental (BDS), for the 15% of all India quota seats, as well as seats at centrally funded institutions. MCC’s official website is www.mcc.nic.in.
AYUSH NEET Counselling
The AYUSH Admissions Central Counseling Committee (AACCC), which is under the Ministry, is responsible for counseling for BAMS, BSMS, BUMS, and BHMS seats in the AIQ. It provides counseling services for seats at government-aided, deemed universities as well as central universities and internal seats at Delhi University. The official website of the AACCC is aaccc.gov.in, and it is currently unavailable.
VCI NEET Counselling 2021
Candidates must participate in counseling by the Veterinary Council of India (VCI) to be admitted to BVSc or AH courses below 15% AIQ. The official website for VCI counseling is vcicounseling.nic.in.
The AIQ system for selection for admission to these courses, which was used last year to select Veterinary colleges across India, except those in Jammu and Kashmir, was applied to all Indian Veterinary colleges. The NTA closed the correction window for phase 2 NEET registration forms on October 14, 2021. NEET Answer key and OMR sheet can be challenged by students until October 17. Students must pay the required amount. The scorecard will announce the NEET-UG 2021 results. Along with the result, the NEET-2021 cutoff will be announced. Corrections to the NEET 2021 application form were allowed only up until October 13. NEET 2021 second-phase registration cum correction window opened October 1. Candidates who do not complete the second phase of NEET 2021’s application form will no longer be eligible to apply for admission through NEET.
