The Ministry of HRD, now called the Ministry of Education, GOI, has created the National Testing Agency (NTA), an independent organization for conducting transparent and international standard tests to determine the competence of applicants for admission to top higher education institutions. The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test results (NEET), are expected to be published this month. The process of counseling candidates who have passed the NEET exam will start after the results are released. 15% of the counseling seats will come from All India Quota, while 85 percent will be from the state quota. Three committees will be conducting the AYUSH, Medical, and Veterinary Counseling in All India Quota. These are the Medical Counseling Committee, Ayush Admission Central Counseling Committee, and Veterinary Counseling of India.

It provides counseling services for seats at government-aided, deemed universities as well as central universities and internal seats at Delhi University. The official website of the AACCC is aaccc.gov.in, and it is currently unavailable.
