Choice locking process

Candidates will have the option to modify their given choices before locking the same. It is essential that a candidate take a printout of the choices locked. In case the choices have not been locked, the filled choices will be frozen automatically on the last date of choice locking. Thereafter, the modification of choices locked will not be permitted. If a candidate does not fill any choices after registration, he/she will not be allotted seat in the online counselling process.

No Limit for Choice Filling

Every candidate must know that there is no particular limit to enter the number of colleges you wish to take admission in. However, the choice put online must be in the order of preference as the seat allotment is done on the basis of the choices submitted by a candidate and the availability of seats. Since the choices filled will be considered in the seat allotment process, it should be done carefully.

What after seat allotment?

If a seat has been allotted to a candidate, it is necessary to join the allotted college and complete the admission formalities within the stipulated time. Meanwhile, candidates also have the option to avail free exit from round one to participate in the second round using their registration login credentials. Candidates who have joined a college after round one but willing to participate in the subsequent round must ensure that they have put the option to participate in round two at the time of joining of seat allotted. Otherwise, a candidate will not be considered eligible to participate in round two for upgradation of choices. For those who have not participated in the first round, new registration has to be done. The registration of counselling for round two will start from April 5 to 9, 2019.
