NEET, JEE Main 2021:  JEE Main is one of the most important engineering entrance exams as admission to most of the premier and central government colleges in India on the basis of this exam. JEE Main Rank is essential not only for those who want to participate in the JEE Main central counselling for NITs, IIITs, etc. For those   who want to qualify in order to appear for JEE Advanced for admission to the Indian Institutes of Technology. There are various factors that determine the JEE. The most important factor amongst these is the JEE Main score secured in the exam. JEE Main Score 2021 will not only determine the qualifying cutoff for JEE Advanced (IITs)but will play an important role in determining the JEE ranks 2021. Although admissions are done on the basis of counselling, you can determine your estimated JEE Main 2021 rank if you know your score.

If two students score the same in the undergraduate admission examinations for medical and engineering, the number of necessary courses as well as the ratio of the number of wrong answers to the number of correct answers will be considered, according to a new NTA policy. Preference will be given to students who have fewer wrong answers.

The results of the JEE Main and NEET exams in 2021 will reflect the NTA’s new regulation. This will have an impact on the participants’ All India Rank (AIR). Students may now examine the information brochure for the rest of the examination rules by visiting the NTA’s official website.

Previously, The National Testing Agency (NTA) Operated a Tie-Breaking Policy for NEET and JEE Mains:

NTA operated a tie-breaker rule until 2020. If two students receive equal scores, the senior one will be given preference for admission to the top universities, according to the tie-breaker rules.

In 2021, the tie-breaker rule was removed from the NTA system. Students taking medical and engineering entrance exams will no longer be considered for admission based on their age. The same guideline was indicated in the recently announced NEET and JEE Information brochures.NEET, JEE Main 2021

NEET, JEE Main 2021: What Is the JEE Main Percentile Score?

The JEE Main percentile score tells how a candidate has performed in comparison to all the other students who appeared for the exam. The percentile is neither the percentage score (that is the percentage of the maximum marks obtained by a student) nor the raw marks (the total and absolute marks secured by the student).

The percentile score of JEE Main will tell the student what percentage of the exam scored less than or equal to that particular percentile in that examination. The formula to calculate JEE Main percentile score is given below.
