NEET Counselling 2023: Check Date, Eligibility Criteria, Registration Process, Document Required

The Medical Counselling Committee will conduct the counselling process for the NEET-UG for all qualified candidates. The counselling will be held in four rounds: Round 1, Round 2, Mop-Up Round, and Stray Vacancy Round. The number of rounds may further increase depending on the seat availability.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for NEET counselling 2023, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• They must have passed NEET-UG 2023.
• They must have secured a minimum qualifying percentile in NEET-UG 2023. The qualifying percentile will be announced by MCC.
• They must have paid the NEET counselling fee.

Registration Process

Seat Matrix

The seat matrix for NEET counselling 2023 will be released by MCC soon. The seat matrix will show the number of seats available in different medical colleges and universities.

Allotment of Seats

The seats will be allotted to candidates based on their NEET-UG 2023 rank, the choices they have filled, and the availability of seats. The seat allotment results will be announced by Medical Counselling Committee.

Payment of Fee

Candidates who are allotted seats in NEET counselling 2023 will have to pay the admission fee. The admission fee will be different for different medical colleges and universities.

Reporting to College

Candidates who have been allotted seats in NEET counselling 2023 will have to report to the concerned college within the stipulated time period. They will have to bring the following documents with them:

• Admission fee receipt
• Original documents (id proof, domicile proof, caste certificate, physically handicapped certificate)
