Following the modification of the JEE Main phase 4 test dates, some medical students have requested that the National Eligibility Cumulative Entrance Test (NEET) be postponed till October. Some candidates are concerned about the possibility of a third Covid-19 wave. Some NEET 2021 candidates, on the other hand, have sought extra time to study for the NEET 2021 test in accordance with the revised NEET exam pattern 2021.

Students have used the hashtags #postponeneetUG2021tilloctober to urge that the NEET-UG 2021 test be postponed until October. On September 12, 2021, the NEET test will be administered. Dharmendra Pradhan, the education minister, changed the JEE Main 2021 test dates for phase 4 on July 12 to August 26, 27, 31, September 1, and 2.

Candidates’ vaccination is yet another reason why hopefuls are requesting that NEET 2021 be postponed. Because many candidates were harmed during the second round of COVID-19, they will not be fully vaccinated until September. As a result, some people resorted to Twitter to express their displeasure and demand that the NEET 2021 be postponed.

Prashant Kumar, a medical student who is probably preparing for NEET tweeted, tagging the education minister said, “We are not demanding cancellations, we are demanding just for postponement of about 3-4 weeks.”

Another medical student named Forza.ferrari stated that the NTA has made many modifications to the NEET 2021 test format and that officials should give students additional time to study.

A NEET student Sneha, tweeted, “If JEE can be rescheduled then why not NEET 2021 exam.”

“NEET 2021 got date just before 2 months and pattern changed favoring high cutoff and no postponement,” says Abhay Aggarwal.

“Yes we do agree that there are precautions taken during the exam, but what about outside the campus when many students and parents wait,” another student tweeted.

Requesting the education minister to reschedule the NEET 2021 exam dates, Sheikh Alexander, a NEET aspirant, tweeted, “We are going through a lot of anxiety due to the fear of a third wave which may likely hit by the end of August and have its peak in mid-Sept.”

Meanwhile, the NEET 2021 registration procedure has begun with some significant modifications at neet.nta.nic.in. Aspirants who meet the NEET 2021 eligibility criterion for admission can fill up and submit the form by August 6, the NEET application form 2021 deadline. NTA has changed the NEET UG 2021 application form procedure to guarantee that applicant data is sent swiftly. The NEET registration forms must now be completed in two parts. Aspirants must read the information pamphlet thoroughly before filling out the NEET 2021 application form.

Conclusion

Earlier the exam pattern was simple and easy to the students and according to the earlier exam pattern, the test comprised of 180 objective type questions (four options with the single correct answer) from Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (Botany and Zoology). This year, each subject will consist of two sections. Section A will consist of 35 questions and Section B will have 15 questions. Out of these 15 questions, candidates can choose to attempt any 10. But now the sudden change in pattern has made students worried and tensed about their score and marks for NEET
