Following the modification of the JEE Main phase 4 test dates, some medical students have requested that the National Eligibility Cumulative Entrance Test (NEET) be postponed till October. Some candidates are concerned about the possibility of a third Covid-19 wave. Some NEET 2021 candidates, on the other hand, have sought extra time to study for the NEET 2021 test in accordance with the revised NEET exam pattern 2021.
Students have used the hashtags #postponeneetUG2021tilloctober to urge that the NEET-UG 2021 test be postponed until October. On September 12, 2021, the NEET test will be administered. Dharmendra Pradhan, the education minister, changed the JEE Main 2021 test dates for phase 4 on July 12 to August 26, 27, 31, September 1, and 2.
Candidates’ vaccination is yet another reason why hopefuls are requesting that NEET 2021 be postponed. Requesting the education minister to reschedule the NEET 2021 exam dates, Sheikh Alexander, a NEET aspirant, tweeted, “We are going through a lot of anxiety due to the fear of a third wave which may likely hit by the end of August and have its peak in mid-Sept.”
