National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, NEET 2022 registrations are going on. National Testing Agency, NTA had released the online application form for NEET-UG 2022 exam on April 6, 2022, more than 11 lakh applications have been completed so far. Interested students are advised to complete their application process at neet.nta.nic.in before May 6, 2022.


According to the information received from NTA, the maximum number of applications have been received from Maharashtra, followed by Uttar Pradesh. Of the 11 lakh registrations completed so far, 1.52 lakh applications are from Maharashtra, while UP is second with 1.21 lakh applications. About 1 lakh applications have also been received from Karnataka and Rajasthan.
Interestingly, the ongoing legislative tussle in Tamil Nadu over the anti-NEET bill has not brought down the number of applications from the southern state. Around 84,214 applications have been received from TN to NTA.

There is one week left in the registration process. 17 lakhs are expected to be applied for the Undergraduate Medical and Dentistry Entrance Exam. Students who have completed class 12 in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology or appearing for their class 12 board exams are eligible to apply. The lower age limit is 17 years but the upper age limit has been removed.

Students who have started their application but have not completed yet are advised to do so at the earliest to avoid the last-minute rush. Applications can be made at neet.nta.nic.in. Students and Parents, Please note that incomplete applications without fee payment will be rejected.
May 6, 2022, is the last date to fill the application and pay the fee online. The exam will be held on 17th July 2022 in a single sitting. Information regarding the issuance of admit card, results and other information will be shared later on the official website
