New Delhi: The wait for NEET 2022 candidates is finally over, the Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) has finally announced its counseling schedule releasing the dates of NEET UG AIQ and states counseling.
In a recent letter written by ADG (ME) and Member, MCC to Sadhya Bhullar, Secretary MCC, Prof. Dr. Srinivas, Member MCC informed about the counseling schedule prepared by MCC and approved by Ministry of Health.
As per the schedule, the first round of counseling for AIQ and both deemed and central institutes will be held from October 11 to October 20, while the first round of state counseling will be held from October 17, 2022-28. The last date for AIQ and Deemed and Central Institutes to appear for this round will be October 28, a similar date will be October 4, 2022 for state counselling.
After this, the second round of counseling for AIQ / Deemed + Central Institutes will be held from November 2, 2022 to November 10, 2022, while the state counseling of the second round will be from November 7, 2022-18, 2022, the last date to appear in this round AIQ and 18 November for Central and Deemed Institutions as well as state consultationsfor November 21, 2022.This will be followed by a mop up round of counseling which will be held from 23 November 2022 – 1 December 2022 for AIQ/Deemed/Central Institutes and 6 December 2022 – 12 December 2022 for States. The last date for appearing in the mop-up round has been fixed as December 10, 2022 for AIQ/Deemed/Central Institutes and December 16 for State Counselling.
Finally, the stray vacancy round for AIQ/Deemed/Central Institutes will be held from December 12, 2022 to December 14, 2022, after which the list of students will be forwarded to Medical equivalent to ten times the number of vacant seats in the order of merit . The CollegeDeemed University for Stray Vacancy Round will be held on 14th December, 2022 by the counseling authority The last last date for joining has been fixed as 20th December, 2022 while the academic session will start on 15th November, 2022
