National Testing Agency (NTA) has opened the application edit window for the medical entrance exam NEET 2022. Candidates who have applied for NEET 2022 can avail this opportunity and make changes in their form between May 24 and May 27.

The NEET 2022 exam is scheduled to be held on July 17, 2022. Earlier, NTA had informed that it will not open the application edit window, but after the prominent representation of the students, the exam conducting body decided to do so.

NEET 2022 Correction Window: Official Notice
As per the official notice, “In view of the multiple representations received from the candidates regarding permission to edit/ modify their details in the online application form of NEET (UG) – 2022, the National Testing Agency decided to provide an opportunity to is. For the candidates to modify their details in the online application form of NEET (UG) – 2022.”Candidates can make changes in their application up to 27th May 2022 up to 9 PM. Thereafter, no edits will be allowed for whatever the reason may be.

The notice further read, “Please note that the final correction will be applicable only after payment of additional fee, if required. In case of change in gender, category, or PWD, the fee amount is to be effected by the candidate. Applicable additional charges will be chargedExcess payment made, if any, will not be refunded.”

NEET 2022 Application Edit Window: Cannot Change
Candidates are allowed to change any field of application other than:

mobile number

Email address

permanent address

Correspondence Address

the nationality

The deadline for submission of NEET 2022 application has been postponed twice in the past as well. This was due to the request of the students to delay the exam and conduct it in August.

There is no upper age limit for NEET this year. Anyone who has passed class 12 with subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology can appear for the exam.

The duration of the exam has been extended by 20 minutes. So now NEET will be conducted for 3 hours 20 minutes. According to experts, the option to keep 20 extra minutes will be a “game changer”
