NEET UG Counselling 2021: The Counselling Advisory:

The counseling committee has stated that if candidates receive an email from a fake website or an agent, they must inform the MCC and submit the FIR (First Information Report) to the police. MCC will allocate seats for MBBS/BDS in accordance with NEET-UG merits and the selection of colleges occupied by students. Following the NEET seat allocation, students who were shortlisted must download allotment letters on the official website. Students must be aware of any correspondence from other sources. Candidates should be aware of fake agents and should comply with the guidelines available on the MCC official website. The password generated during NEET counseling registration is not to be divulged to anyone. In the event that an aspirant is involved with a fake site or agent, the person should contact MCC.

“MCC does not allocate seats on a nomination basis. It is also stated the fact that there are no official letters issued by MCC from DGHS to students who have been successful. Students who have been granted seats by MCC are required to download Provisional Allotment Letters on the MCC website and then report to the colleges that have been allotted to them for admission. So, students should be wary of any correspondence issued by scrupulous individuals for the benefit of MCC regarding the allocation of seats. Candidates must be wary of fake agents; they are also advised to carry out the registration process on the website on their own instead of hiring an agent for the same purpose,” the official statement stated.
