*Message of “Nation First – Always First” Echoes on Subharti Day*

Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Himanshu Aeran Inspires Students with a Spirit of Patriotism; Calls Dr. Atul Krishna’s Nationalist Vision the Identity of the University

Dehradun: Subharti Day was celebrated with enthusiasm and patriotic fervor at Ras Bihari Bose Subharti University, Dehradun. The program commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp and Saraswati Vandana by Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Himanshu Aeran. On this occasion, tributes were paid to the great revolutionary Chandrashekhar Azad and all freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives for the nation.

Addressing the gathering, Prof. Dr. Himanshu Aeran stated that Subharti Day is not merely a formal event but an opportunity held every month to instill a sense of patriotism and responsibility among students. He emphasized that the true purpose of education is not limited to acquiring degrees, but to nurture responsible and patriotic citizens who place the nation above all.

He further said that the university’s core motto is “Nation First – Always First,” and every activity is organized in alignment with this guiding principle. Dr. Aeran particularly highlighted that the nationalist character of Dr. Atul Krishna is his strongest identity, and the same ideology is clearly reflected not only in Ras Bihari Bose Subharti University but also in all the educational institutions associated with him. He affirmed his own commitment to carrying forward this nationalist vision.

The Faculty of Allied Health Care organized Poetry and Extempore competitions, where students delivered impressive performances on themes such as patriotism, sacrifice, youth power, and social awareness. The judges evaluated participants based on content, presentation, language, and confidence. In the Extempore competition, Simran Negi secured first place, while Niki Rathore won first position in the Poetry category.

On this occasion, Controller of Examinations Dr. Pradeep Sharma, Head of Cultural Department Mr. Vinay Semwal, Dean of Faculty of Allied Health Care Dr. Anirban Patra, along with officials from various departments, faculty members, and a large number of students, were present.

The program concluded with a vote of thanks by the organizing committee and the National Anthem. However, the message continued to resonate across the campus—
Nation First – Always First.
