Maharashtra has created an official website for counseling to apply to medical colleges. Candidates who have passed NEET and wish to apply for admissions at state-based colleges may register at info.mahacet.org. However, the schedule and registration link are still not available. The central counseling dates have not yet been released, but the NEET 2021 schedule will be available for state-based colleges. Students who are still waiting for admissions. The State Common Entrance Test Cell of Maharashtra launched the Centralized Counseling Process portal for Undergraduate Medical admission through the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test 2021. Maharashtra NEET Counselling 2021:

These documents must be uploaded by candidates at the time they register and original copies should be kept during admission.

  4. Certificate of nationality
  5. HSC (12th Class) marks sheet
  6. Certificate SSC (Class 10) for age proof
  7. Aadhar Card

On November 1, 2021, the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG 2021) result was made public. Mrinal Kuteri secured AIR 1 in the NEET UG exam. Tanmay Gupta secured rank 2, and Karthika Nair secured AIR 3. Maharashtra NEET counseling is under the control of the State Common Entrance Test Cell or CET Cell, Maharashtra. The Maharashtra NEET Counselling Schedule, Notification, and Information Bulletin are still to be published. The authorities have however released a list containing all the documents needed for the Maharashtra NEET Counselling process.

State counseling is open to students who are Maharashtra residents and have to be enrolled in schools in the state. The fee for counseling is Rs 1000 for candidates for state quota, Rs 5000 to institutional quota, and Rs 6000 to state and institutional applicants.

As many as 85% of India’s total medical seats are allocated through state-based counseling. Only 15% of the seats are allocated centrally by the Medical Council Committee (MCC).

Conclusion:

The following documents are required to be uploaded by candidates at the time they register: NEET marks sheet NEET 2020 admit card, nationality certificate, copy of the online application at mahacet.org, Class 12 HSC marks sheet, Aadhar card, Class 10) certificate for proof of age, Domicile certificate, and medical fitness certificate. During the admission process, they will also need original documents. Candidates from reserved categories will need to submit Caste Certificate, Caste Validity Certificate, and Non-Creamy layer certificate valid until 31 March 2022.
