Organized Under the ‘Rashtra Bodh’ Course at Ras Bihari Bose Subharti University, Dehradun
Lecture on “Indian Constitution : A lecture on the topic “Indian Constitution” was successfully organized under the compulsory value-added course “Rashtra Bodh” at Ras Bihari Bose Subharti University, Dehradun. This was the fourth lecture in the series and was held on 27 January 2026 at the Samrat Lalitaditya Auditorium, Lala Bahadur Shastri Lokpriya Hospital, located in the university’s main campus.
This Lecture on “Indian Constitution was the fourth phase of the introductory-cum-inaugural lecture series that commenced on 23 December 2025.
At the beginning of the program, Dr. Imran Khan, Dean, Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, highlighted the relevance of the Rashtra Bodh course in the present times and shared the university’s commitment towards this objective with the students. Thereafter, the Pro Vice-Chancellor of the University and the keynote speaker, Dr. Desh Deepak, guided the students on the topic of the Indian Constitution under the Rashtra Bodh course. In his address, Dr. Desh Deepak elaborated on constitutional philosophy, constitutional background, fundamental rights, and fundamental duties. He also shared with the students the vision and objectives of Dr. Atul Krishna, the chief architect and chairman of the Rashtra Bodh initiative at the university.
Lecture on “Indian Constitution At the end of the lecture, a quiz competition based on the lecture was organized by the Special Officer of the University, Mr. Sachin Shrinarayan. The participants securing first, second, and third positions were felicitated by Pro Vice-Chancellor Dr. Desh Deepak.
The program concluded with the singing of “Azad Hind Gaan” in accordance with Subharti traditions, led by Assistant Professor Raman Krishna Kimothi, member of the Department of Culture.

On this occasion, Mr. Vinay Semwal (Secretary, Department of Sanskrit), Manmohan Gupta (Dean Academics), Pradeep Mahara (University NSS Officer), Assistant Professor Midatt Aslam, along with deans, heads of departments, institute heads, faculty members, and a large number of students were present.
The objective of this lecture series is to provide holistic education to students and to develop them into responsible and aware citizens.
