The Commission for Entrance Examination (CEE) Kerala has released the Kerala PG 2019 Medical Application on March 19, 2019. The applications are available online until March 25, 2019. Candidates who wish to seek admission to the different MD/MS and PG Diploma courses under the 50 percent state quota.
Only those candidates who have appeared for the NEET PG examinations can apply as the admissions will be conducted based on the scores of the NEET PG 2019 examination only. Under the 50 percent state quota, there are 383 seats for the PG degree course and 79 seats for the PG Diploma courses which are available at the Government Medical Colleges including 8 seats at RCC Trivandrum for the PG Degree course. 342 seats for the PG Degree courses and 81 seats in PG Diploma courses are reserved under the All India Quota
The selection and allotment of candidates for the state quota seats will be based on the Rank List prepared by the Commission of Entrance Examination on the basis of the NEET PG2019 Rank List prepared by the National Board of Examination (NBE).
Filling the application form
To fill the application form candidates need to visit the official website cee-kerala.org and proceed to the application notification given on the front page. After clicking on the notification link candidates can go through the prospectus and notification released and proceed to the ‘application website’. After going to the detailed schedule given proceed to the ‘registration’ link and complete the registration process using the NEET PG Roll Number, Date of Birth, NEET Rank and Access Code. After the registration is complete candidates will be directed to the application form to apply for the state quota seats.
After filling in all the relevant sections in the application form candidates need to submit the application fee. Candidates belonging to the General Category have to pay an application fee of Rs 1000/- while candidates belonging to the SC/ST/OBC categories must pay an application fee of Rs 500/- The payment can be made through both online and offline mode.
After the application process is completed the provisional merit list will be released based on the NEET PG rank. After this, the final merit list will be released for the seat allotment process. The final merit list will contain the candidates’ name, state merit rank, and NEET PG Score. The seat allotment will be conducted through a centralized allotment process wherein only those candidates who make it to the merit list will be called for counseling.
There will be two online rounds for seats allotment. There will also be a mop-up round in case there are seats left after the second round of seat allotment.
