Lucknow, 26 February : At the 3-day International Festival of English Language ‘Melange-2021’ being organized by City Montessori School, Station Road Campus, the participating students from prestigious schools of Russia, Germany, Canada, Sri Lanka, Nepal and various states of India gave an outstanding display of their latent talents in different interesting competitions including Guess the Good Word, Tell-a-Tale, Monoact in Theatre, today and amazed all with their unparalleled capabilities. Through their participation in these competitions the students of India and abroad not only displayed their knowledge of English language but also showcased their creative capacities and intellect. It may be mentioned that CMS Station Road Campus is organizing the 3-day event, Melange-2021 in which various interesting competitions are being held for students of classes IV to VIII.
The competitions at Melange-2021 began today with ‘Guess the Good Word’ competitions which was held in four rounds including two written and two oral rounds for students of class IV. Participants who had cleared the written rounds got the chance to participate in the third and fourth oral rounds of the competitions wherein they had to give the spell-out and pronunce difficult words in 20 seconds time. The Tell-a-Tale competition organized for students of class V was equally interesting. In this competition the participant had to prepare a story on-the-spot on a given picture and speak about it for two minutes. The creativity, spontaneity and expression of the participants in this interesting contest was worth watching. The third competition of the day, Monoact in Theatre , held for students of class VI was also very enchanting and informative in which the participants put up a great show of talents. The students presented their monoacts on different topics in a very convincing and expert way.
Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS, Mr Hari Om Sharma said that this international event has been successful in bringing out the latent talents of the students and at the same time, realizing the idea of Vasudhaiv Kutumbkam by bringing students of so many countries virtually together on a common platform. He informed that on the third day of the event tomorrow on 27 February, students from India and abroad will participate in a healthy competition in Turncoat in Poem and Just-a-Minute contests.
