Lucknow, 17 December : The five-day International Football Tournament ‘Concord-2022’ organized by City Montessori School, Station Road Campus will be inaugurated tomorrow on Sunday, 18 December at 5.00 pm at CMS Kanpur Road auditorium. Shri Rakesh Sachan, Minister, Micro, Small and Medium Industries, UP, will be the Chief Guest on this occasion while eminent sports personalities and officials will grace the occasion with their benign presence. This information has come from Mr Hari Om Sharma, Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS. He added that Concord-2022 has been organized from 18 to 22 December in which student teams from Nepal, Bangladesh and various states of India are participating.that the students’ teams arrived today from India and abroad were warmly welcomed by CMS students and teachers. The teams were overwhelmed by their warm reception and looked full of enthusiasm. In an informal talk, the participating students said that they will play with full zeal, explore their skills and spread the messages of unity, peace and brotherhood.the matches of Concord-2022 will commence from
19th December at 8.00 am onwards at the two grounds of Chowk Stadium and at ‘Jai Jagat Stadium’ of CMS Kanpur Road Campus. A total of 12 matches will be played daily on knock out basis and in accordance with the FIFA Laws of the games. Mr Sharma informed that during the tournament, the young players will be awarded as Best Player, Best Striker, Best Goal Keeper, Highest Scorer etc. to motivate them.
