Lucknow, 2 September : Four members of International Organisation, ‘Generation Global’ took a tour of City Montessori School, Gomti Nagar Campus I and Rajajipuram Campus I and discussed various global issues with the students. During the course of their interaction, they appreciated the creative thinking and global vision of the students. CMS students also shared their experiences with the visiting team with respect to the ‘Global Citizenship Education Programme’ in detail. The director of ‘Generation Global’, Ms Lucy Hayter led the team from England, the other members of which were, Ms Charlene Gambe, Business Development Manager, Ms Aanchal Mittal, Marketing and Communication Manager and Ms Shruti Sharma, Partnership, Marketing and Communication Lead.
Interacting with the students of CMS Gomti Nagar Campus I, Ms Lucy Hayter, Director, Generation Global, said that we are immensely impressed with the balanced education, global vision and scientific approach that CMS is providing to its students. CMS Students are actually giving the message of unity, peace and harmony to the whole world as responsible world citizens. CMS Founder, Dr Jagdish Gandhi said that since its inception, CMS has been inspiring students to adopt a humanistic world view. CMS President & MD, Prof Geeta Gandhi Kingdon said that looking at the changing world scenario, the content of education for the 21st century should be different from that of the 20th century. It must broaden a child’s perspective to globalism.
