Chennai The directorate of medical education will reimburse education tution fees more than, 6000 candidates who had either” upgraded” or quit their seats in round 1 during the MBBS/ BDS admission process. The state selection commission has initiated refund, and said that the process for further than,000post-graduate scholars is in progress.

This time, the commission had asked scholars to pay freights to the selection commission rather of paying them at sodalities. The commission said it’ll transfer the figure to the council or return the remaining quantum to the pupil. The decision comes after complaints surfaced that sodalities were charging further than the figure specified by the figure commission.
The commission has published a list of candidates eligible for a refund. As the first step, it has asked candidates to inform it in case of any disagreement.” We’ll be transferring a link to the candidates in which they can add their contact and bank details for fund transfer,” said commission clerk Dr R Muthuselvan.

The refund process for postgraduate scholars has formerly begun. The commission listed,413 candidates of which,330 scholars verified that the quantum mentioned is correct but 17 said there are disagreement. Some scholars are yet to shoot bank or contact details.” We’re hoping to complete refunds by medial- February,” he said.

candidates who discontinued or didn’t join the seat distributed to them during or after round II of allotment won’t get back their education or security deposit as mentioned in the prospectus, Dr Muthuselvan said.
