NEET 2021 is scheduled to take place on September 12, 2021, in pen and paper format. After clearing NEET UG students are able to take admission in various colleges. NEET-UG is conducted for admission to 313 dental, 47 BVSc and AH colleges, 542 medical and 914 AYUSH in India.
NTA i.e. National Testing Agency will publish the qualifying marks list for NEET UG 2021 as well as it’s outcome. Candidates who will obtain the passing marks will get the admission in different colleges like MBBS, AYUSH, BDS, BVSc and AH courses. NEET UG is the basic required for admission. Candidates work hard to get the qualifying marks but somehow only creamy layer is able to settle in top colleges.
Measuring marks has been already told by NTA, both the marks list and scores will be announced together. It will give a clear picture of the exam.
Different types of Categories
Separate categories have been made and scoring specific category marks is essential, minimum 50 percentile is required by General and General EWS meanwhile 40 percentile is needed for SC/ST/OBC.
There are many factors which are taken into consideration for the announcement of marks, so that it can be fair and clear.
Some of the factors are
1) How many candidates are giving NEET 2021?
2) Paper pattern of NEET.
3) Divisions of questions on the basis of moderate, easy and difficult.
4) Calculation of total seats.
5) Previous year formats to set new year papers.
6) Category wise bifurcation of candidates and many more.
NTA will use the marks bifurcation list to prepare deserving candidates merit. The merit will only give a chance to those who have passed the minimum requirement of NEET because counselling will be done on the basis of merit list. MCC (Medical Counselling Committee) will directed the counselling for admission in India for 15% all India quota deemed/central universities, ESIC/AFMC institutes, AIIMS and JIPMER colleges. State medical executives will direct the admission process for 85% reserved state seats as the state also needs to give some seats to its deserving candidates.
