NEET registration process 2021:

Registration for NEET 2021 started on the 13th of July 2021 and was to be closed by the 6th Of August 2021. But when the server went down on the 6th of August many candidates came forward and exclaimed that they were not yet done with the registration process. And hence considering this situation, The National Testing Agency (NTA) extended the date till the 10th of August allowing all the candidates to get themselves registered for the exam.

NEET registration process 2021:

And hence considering this situation, The National Testing Agency (NTA) extended the date till the 10th of August allowing all the candidates to get themselves registered for the exam. During this process, the interested candidates had to log in to the official website, neet.nta.nic.in, and then scroll down where they would get an option “Application form”. After clicking on the option, they would be redirected to the form and there they need to fill in all the required credentials including their recent passport size photograph as well as the signature of the candidate. After doing the above process the candidate has to submit the form and after submitting the form, the candidate will get a registration number which he/she has to keep with themselves as this number will be of use during the exam.

Opening of Correction window:

After the forms were duly closed on the 10th of August, the National Testing Agency (NTA)announced the dates for the correction window. The correction window will remain open from 11th of August 2021 to 14th of August 2021, till 2:00 p.m. During this time the candidates will be allowed to change certain things which they have submitted wrong during the registration process. The candidate can re-upload the documents if any of those document details went wrong. 

How to make use of the Correction window of NEET:

To make changes to your registration form, follow the following process:

  1. Visit the official neet.nta.nic.in
  2. Either login directly or press on the link for correction of your application
  3. Re-upload the documents if required or make the necessary changes.
  4. After you have made the desired changes, save the form and submit it.
  5. Your correction has been recorded.

After the 14th of August 2021 at 2:00 p.m. (IST), The candidates will not be allowed to make any further changes to the form. The admit cards will be issued soon after the correction window closes.

What if the details in the admit card go wrong? 

After making the required changes on or before 14th August 2021, the candidates won’t be allowed to make any changes to the form further. In case the details in their admit card go wrong, the respective candidates have to immediately report it to the NTA so that he/she does not have to face future consequences as this admit card would be of utmost importance in the exam as well as after the exam. So the candidate has to immediately approach the NTA to get the required changes done.

Summary:

The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2021 for the undergraduates is to be held on the 12th of September 2021. The registration forms were closed on the 10th of August 2021 and the correction window opened on 11th August 2021 which would be closed by 14th August 2021. The candidates in this window would be allowed to make changes or re-upload the documents if required. They won’t be allowed to make any change after the closure of the respective window.
